A pair of eighteen carat white gold and blackened sterling silver earrings, designed as a half oval sphere on the ear, pavé set with round facetted blue sapphires, suspending an oval cabochon cut opaque blue opal (ca 32 x 24 mm.), the gallery pavé set with two rows of round facetted blue sapphires. Signed Hemmerle, made in Munich, early 21st century.
