Antique ring crowned heart

An eighteen carat yellow gold and silver ring designed as a crowned heart (symbol for loyalty), set with a heart cut topaz to a coloured foil backing in a gold setting, flanked by two old cut diamonds in square cut back silver settings. On top of the heart three rose cut diamonds in leaf shaped silver settings to form the crown. Made in the 1st half of the nineteeth century. With antique heart-shaped box signed Patterson, Londonderry.
